Conservation Farm Bill Programs

The Shiawassee Conservation District works cooperatively with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to deliver conservation programs to Shiawassee County residents.

Farm Bill conservation programs are voluntary and confidential. They provide technical and financial assistance to landowners and agricultural producers to conserve natural resources. The Shiawassee Conservation District is the local link to Farm Bill conservation funding, providing technical assistance and conservation planning to protect our natural resources.

Applications are accepted at the Shiawassee Conservation District office anytime, however, participants must have an approved Conservation Plan  to get approved for financial assistance.
